Family Owl Prowl
Visiting the Arboretum at night is a special experience and one you won’t soon forget. Join us inside the classroom for an up-close experience with live owls followed by a hike on the trails through the moonlit forest in search of our local species. Kevin Gaines of Wildlife Revealed will share with us his knowledge of owls and display three different species: Eastern Screech Owl, Barred Owl and Great Horned Owl. In groups of 20, we will venture out into the darkness with recorded calls to elicit responses from these nocturnal hunters of the Arboretum’s forest.

Time: 5:00–7:30 p.m.
Cost: $30 for members; $45 for non-members. Children 6-12: $15
