Get ready for a wicked good time at Houston’s best and most unique Halloween activity for adults, the Houston Arboretum’s inaugural Howl at the Moon Party – a spectacular night in the woods! Participants will be regaled with a delectable three course meal, libations, and spooky fun under the crescent moon and the shimmering stars.
Howl at the Moon’s festivities are inspired by popular Halloween films and nocturnal animals that live wild in our woods.
The fun begins when you arrive at the Arboretum’s Nature Center building, eerily resembling The Shining’s Overlook Hotel. As you make your way to our moonlit meadow you’ll encounter a REDRUM hay maze, creeping Acromantulas, and jack-o-lantern lit trails through the dark Forbidden Forest.
Along the way we will treat you to a three-stop, three-course meal with wine pairings suggested by the Texas Wine School’s James King.
Once in our Meadow you’ll wield the magic of telescopes to view the night sky with members of the Houston Astronomical Society. From the Meadow the Hogwarts Express Hay Ride will take you
to our final activity where we’ll elicit the calls of wild beasts who lurk in the night, and howl at
