Group Volunteer Opportunities

Group Volunteer Opportunities

Consider the Arboretum for your next team-building exercise or group service project! Volunteers from corporations, universities, high schools, congregations, and many other community/professional organizations contribute thousands of hours of service each year to enhance our nature sanctuary trails and grounds. The conservation projects are physically demanding but highly popular and rewarding too!

Volunteer groups must schedule in advance. We can accommodate groups on weekdays or Saturday mornings. Projects can be scheduled for half-day or full day with mornings 9 am – noon preferred. All equipment and tools are provided and each project is staff supervised with on-the-job training.

For more information, contact the Volunteer Manager, Lynne Hester, at 713-366-0375 or email, lhester@houstonarboretum.org.
