Cooking with Honey: Flavor Infusions

Honey is delicious on its own, but you can add even more layers of flavor by infusing it with dried herbs and spices. In this interactive, online class, we’ll talk about why using local honey is so important. Then we’ll make savory (chili-basil) and sweet (vanilla) infused honeys. Finally, we’ll use our flavored honey in two simple recipes: a basil-honey grilled cheese and a vanilla honey mug cake.

You will need the following tools from your own kitchen: knife and cutting board, stove, pan (for making grilled cheese), spatula, large ceramic mug, microwave, fork, and small bowl. The class will be recorded, and the video will be sent out after the class. Registrants will receive a class link on their receipt and will need to use this link to pre-register for the class on Zoom.
