Join us for a morning of nature discovery! We’ll explore each theme with interpretive hikes along our trails, learn about the wildlife and habitats of the Arboretum in our Discovery Room, and enjoy adventure play in our Nature Playscape!
Identify ways that organisms live and survive in their ecosystem by interacting with the living and non-living elements. Compare the physical characteristics of the woodland, savanna, prairie, and wetland habitats to determine how they support biological communities.
Please come dressed for the outdoors, including closed-toe shoes. This is a drop-off class. Parents and siblings are welcome to explore the Arboretum’s grounds on their own.
