Winter Tree ID

Trees don’t always have leaves – so how do we ID bare trunks and branches? Come learn how to identify trees based on some not-so-obvious characteristics like twig morphology and get into the real nitty-gritty of tree ID. We’ll learn in the classroom and on the trails so we can practice on real trees in the wild.

Class will be held rain or shine and will involve a short outdoor hike. Please dress for the weather.
