Join us to celebrate National Prairie Day by learning some common wildflower species\, how to identify them\, and how they fit in our prairie ecosystems. You may also discover plants that could grow in your garden at home!  \n\n\n\n\nRegister Online\n\n\n\n\nClass will be held rain or shine – dress for the weather and wear walking shoes. Weather permitting\, we will be walking about one mile on gravel\, boardwalk\, and mulch trails.

Come learn how to identify trees based on some not-so-obvious characteristics like twig morphology and get into the real nitty-gritty of tree ID. We’ll learn in the classroom and on the trails so we can practice on real trees in the wild.  \n\n\n\nRegistration for this class is no longer available.  \n\n\n\nClass will be held rain or shine and will involve a short outdoor hike.
