Instructor: Jessie MeadowsAll Ages – intended for families\, all children must be accompanied by an adult. \n\n\n\nEach fall\, monarchs make an astonishing 3\,000 mile journey south to their overwintering grounds high in the mountains of Mexico. Together\, we will learn how to safely catch and tag monarch butterflies in preparation for their peak migration through the Houston area from October 10th-22nd. By tagging monarch butterflies and reporting our findings\, we will help the Monarch Watch Tagging Program and their study of the monarch’s migration patterns.
