Guess who’s baaaack!

November 10 – 29
Visible during Arboretum hours from 7 am – dusk, daily
The goats will be located in the northeast corner of the Arboretum near the Savanna Field Station, Post Oak Trail, Willow Oak Trail, and Outer Loop. They move around every few days to graze a new section.

Goats are protected by an electrified fence. Please do not try to pet or feed goats.

Starting Tuesday, November 10, everyone’s favorite grazing crew will be back at the Arboretum. Now through November 29, 191 goats from our friends at Rent-A-Ruminant Texas will be on site doing what they do best – chowing down on invasive species and overgrown native plants. After helping the Arboretum clear 1.5 acres around the Woodway Ponds in early October, this second visit will focus on over 7 acres of savanna restoration. While feeding and petting are not permitted, we love seeing your goat photos! If you post any to Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter, tag the Arboretum so we can see your pics!
