SUMMARY:The Ecology of Mycology

Check out our next Nature Revealed class – Wild Romance! \n\n\n\n\n\n\nFungi are so much more than simple decomposers. In this class\, we’ll focus on some of our local fungi and their complex relationships with plants\, insects\, and humans. We’ll learn how some fungi form “social networks” with plants and help them gather nutrients\, while others are plant parasites. We’ll even explore the ways that fungi can trick insects into doing their bidding! \n\n\n\nThe class will be recorded\, and the video will be sent out after the class.
