Join us to help collect data for the longest running community science project in the world. We welcome all birding skill levels. We will split into teams to find\, identify\, and count as many birds as we can find along our five miles of trails.  \n\n\n\nThere will be two “shifts”: an early 6:00 am start to look for American Woodcock in the Meadow\, and a later 9:00 am start. You can sign up for one or both shifts. We will meet at the Administration Building Staff & Volunteer Entrance (just head to the Nature Center Courtyard and you’ll see us getting ready). We recommend bringing your own binoculars\, but we will have some available to borrow. Cameras are strongly encouraged! \n\n\n\nWe will meet rain or shine – dress for the weather and wear good walking shoes. Hosted at the site of the Houston Open PGA Tournament\, Arbor Cup will have exclusive access to course amenities\, an open-grill dinner from Beck’s Prime\, and premium raffle prizes. \n\n\n\nArbor Cup Highlights\n\n\n\n\nTournament check in and light brunch begins at 10:00 am with a scramble start at 11:30 am.\n\n\n\nOpen bar\, dinner\, player gifts\, and golf cart rentals are included with each team entry.\n\n\n\nThe tournament concludes with awards\, raffle prizes\, and dinner around 5:00 pm.\n\n\n\n\nArbor Cup Golf Tournament is a four-person scramble format. Pre-registration is required. Join us on the second Saturday of each month in front of the Nature Center building for a two-hour bird survey led by Arboretum staff members Kelsey Low and Theo Ostler. We welcome all levels of bird watching skill and all ages (as long as you’re quiet) – but no dogs\, please!  \n\n\n\nIf you have binoculars of your own\, please bring them. We have a limited number of binoculars available to borrow
