Like DIY crafts? Check out our upcoming Eco-printing Two Ways! \n\n\n\n\n\n\nMake a beautiful piece of functional art for your home or garden! We’ll give you everything you need to make a mosaic flower pot\, including the pot\, decorative tiles\, glue\, and grout. Then you’ll join us online for two class sessions to make your art. In the first session we’ll plan our designs\, apply tiles to our pots\, and then let them dry overnight. In the second session we’ll apply grout and talk about how to use these techniques for other projects. \n\n\n\nWe STRONGLY recommend doing the second class session outdoors\, or at least with plenty of protection on your workspace to avoid mess. The class will be recorded\, and the video will be sent out after the class. In this class you’ll get (almost) everything you need to make two simple and tasty recipes using beer from our friends at Saint Arnold Brewing Company. You’ll even get your own loaf pan to bake in! Then follow along with the instructor during the interactive\, online class. Pro-tip: if you make a simple green salad ahead of time\, you’ll have dinner ready to go by the end of the class. \n\n\n\nSupply pickup is January 29 & 30 from 9 am – 4 pm in the Nature Center building. \n\n\n\nYou will need the following tools from your own kitchen: sifter or mesh strainer\, oven and stove\, large bowl\, stirring spoon or spatula\, knife\, cutting board\, pot\, and whisk.
