DESCRIPTION:$10 member / $25 nonmemberInstructor: Kelsey LowAges 13 and up \nRegistration is closed.  \n[divider] \nLove ‘em or hate ‘em\, crows are fascinating birds. Everyone has a crow story. Are crows dark\, menacing pests\, or are they smart\, friendly tricksters? The answer is always somewhere in between. Join us for an exploration of the secret life of crows\, from the deepest reaches of ancient mythology to the most modern scientific studies. We’ll learn about the surprising diversity of crows\, their complex social lives\, and their astonishing and sometimes uncomfortable intelligence. You’ll even learn to speak a little crow language!  \nThe class will be recorded\, and the video will be sent out after the class. Registrants will receive a class link on their receipt and will need to use this link to pre-register for the class on Zoom.

DESCRIPTION:$30 member / $50 nonmember (per family\, up to 4 people; $5 per additional family member)All ages \nRegistration is closed. \n[divider] \nCelebrate National Gingerbread House Day! \nSenior Naturalist\, Tiffany Ritter\, leads this interactive live Zoom class where we’ll assemble a house made of recycled cardboard “gingerbread” and decorate it with all the natural fixin’s to create a beautiful house for your backyard birds. \nAn Arboretum-At-Home packet will contain: \n\nCardboard pieces for houses\nNuts\, seeds\, and berries for decoration\nPeanut Butter or suet\n\n*Nut-free supplies available upon request**A glue-gun is needed for assembly\, but not provided \nArboretum-At-Home packet can be picked up during regular Nature Center hours Dec. 10 & 11. A link to register for live presentation on Zoom will be included in your receipt after purchase.
