DESCRIPTION:$35 member / $50 nonmemberInstructor: Kelsey LowAges 16+ \n\n\n\nMix and mingle with a wild crowd – our reptile ambassadors! Enjoy a tasty cocktail as you meet some scaly\, cold-blooded friends up close and personal. You’ll learn why there’s no need to be afraid of snakes\, lizards\, and turtles\, and discover the important roles they play in the ecosystem. Finally\, we’ll go on a hike to enjoy our nighttime trails. \n\n\n\nPlease dress for the weather and wear walking shoes. We will offer you the chance to pet some of our reptile ambassadors\, but don’t worry – it’s not mandatory! You can admire them from a distance if you prefer. \n\n\n\nDue to continued power outages from Hurricane Beryl\, this class has been cancelled. Work alone or with a team to complete an Arboretum scavenger hunt that will test your powers of observation. Along the way\, you’ll learn how to use the iNaturalist app to turn your scavenger hunt into useful scientific data – it’s as easy as taking pictures! You’ll also enjoy beer and other refreshments from Saint Arnold Brewing Company. \n\n\n\n\nRegister Online\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPlease dress for the weather and wear walking shoes.
