Native plant gardening is good for the earth, but it can be daunting for beginners. What plants should I choose? Why are they so expensive? Why does my milkweed keep dying? In this class, we’ll discuss some ways to get the “most bang for your buck” when it comes to native plants: careful selection, smart buying, and how to get plants for free. We’ll also talk about common problems and how to avoid them. Each participant will get a detailed native plant list and a packet of wildflower seeds to take home.
