Nature Revealed

Honey bees, mason bees, and bumble bees are just some of the nearly 1,000 species of bees here in Texas. Who are these helpful insects, how do they live, and why are they disappearing? In this class we’ll meet some of our most common species, explore the role of bees in our ecosystem, and discuss how you can help bees in your own backyard. If the weather permits we will go on a walk to look for bees at the Arboretum.
