Nature Revealed

Houston is flat, urban, swampy, and boring – we don’t have REAL wilderness, right? WRONG. Houston is wild! It just takes a closer look to appreciate the beauty and complexity of our local ecosystems. Our city sits at the junction of three major ecoregions (Gulf Coast Prairie, Post Oak Savanna, and Pineywoods), supporting an incredible diversity of wildlife. Join us on a virtual expedition through Houston’s wild spaces, from the coyote highways of our bayous to the “grass ocean” of our prairie, and meet some of the weird and wonderful creatures that call our city home.

The class will be recorded, and the video will be sent out after the class. Registrants will receive a class link on their receipt and will need to use this link to pre-register for the class on Zoom.
