Nature Revealed

We all love owls. There is something captivating about these beautiful, silent, nocturnal hunters. In this class we’ll explore the astonishing adaptations and fascinating behaviors of these unusual birds. Learn the real truth about “wise old owls,” their tubular eyes, asymmetrical ears, whiskered beaks, and sensitive emotional lives. We won’t see live owls, but we will handle plenty of specimens and even dissect some owl pellets to investigate their diet.

Wear walking shoes and dress for the weather.
