Nature Revealed

Few animals are as feared as snakes, and few are associated with so many myths and half-truths. In this class we’ll learn the real truth about snakes: what they do, what they don’t do, and how important they are in the ecosystem. Are baby snakes really more dangerous than adults? Do angry snakes chase you down? Do all venomous snakes have slit pupils and triangular heads? Find out with the help of our snake ambassadors, Fred and Jill. Weather permitting, we’ll also go on a walk to look for snakes on the trails.
