Savanna Pilot Project

• As part of our preparation for master plan implementation, we are restoring a 5-acre pilot area based on its historic ecological conditions.
• The work on this test plot will inform our conservation team on the best methods for re-introducing native grasses and wildflowers.
• Areas that are restored based on their historic ecological conditions are more resilient and sustainable, and provide a more diverse habitat for native fauna.
• This pilot project will inform the design team and construction process of the entire master plan.
