This hike is a ¾ mile trail that consists of boardwalks\, decomposed granite trails\, metal grates\, and paved concrete. All guests are subject to ticketing if they do not enter their Member parking code or pay the parking fee. Please do not leave valuables in your car. Join Dr. Mark “Merriwether” Vorderbruggen for this hands-on experience in the simple art of creating lacto-fermented foods using local wild plants! DESCRIPTION:$22 member / $37 nonmemberAges 12+\, all minors must be accompanied by an adult \n\n\n\nBird watching can be very frustrating: birds can be tiny\, fast\, and love to hide. You should try bird LISTENING instead! In this class we’ll get a quick classroom introduction to birding by ear and then head out on the trails to practice our listening skills. We’ll focus on common birds and ways to describe and even “draw” sounds so you can look them up later! \n\n\n\nPlease dress for the weather and wear walking shoes. \n\n\n\n\nsold out
