Summer Camp All Grown Up
July 16 from 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm
Why should kids have all the fun? Treat yourself to all the joys of summer camp, but for grown-ups! Unwind after a stressful day with hands-on nature activities, crafts, and outdoor exploration, PLUS a simple snack and a refreshing beer from Saint Arnold Brewing Company.
Please dress for the weather and wear walking shoes.

Micro World

There’s a whole world of activity going on under our noses. Using hand lenses and microscopes, we’ll hunt for the tiny creatures that make our ecosystems function, from roly-polies to plankton. We’ll even create a miniature world to take home: a micro-terrarium!

Nature is full of mysteries, and you can find clues everywhere if you know what to look for. Learn about signs of wildlife activity like tracks and scat, make your own gourmet chocolate “scat snacks,” and search the trails for evidence of the Arboretum’s “usual suspects.”
