Experience the past in a new way – through food! In this unique virtual class, we’ll explore the history of Camp Logan using real artifacts found at the Arboretum AND cook recipes inspired by these artifacts, historical menus, and period cookbooks. We’ll prepare delicious cheese toast and refrigerator dill pickles, both familiar foods for Camp Logan soldiers, to help give us a taste of what life was like in 1917.
Participants need to have basic kitchen supplies.
