Prairie Wildflowers

Prairie wildflowers are some of Houston’s greatest natural treasures. Join us to celebrate National Prairie Day by learning some common wildflower species, how to identify them, and how they fit in our prairie ecosystems. You may also discover plants that could grow in your garden at home! 

Class will be held rain or shine – dress for the weather and wear walking shoes. Weather permitting, we will be walking about one mile on gravel, boardwalk, and mulch trails.
