Backyard Birds

Cardinals, jays, robins, and chickadees visit nearly every home in Houston. They are so familiar that we take them for granted…but what secrets lurk beneath the fluff of these backyard birds? It turns out that our common, “boring” birds are really mysterious and fascinating creatures. Join us to learn the secret language of jays, the passions and infidelities of chickadees, the expanding empire of cardinals, and the ridiculously complex “migration” of robins.

Class will be held rain or shine and will involve an outdoor hike. Please dress for the weather.
