Everyone loves milkweed, but it can be challenging to grow. In this hands-on class we’ll de-mystify milkweed, from the best ways to start seed to the right soil and pots for your precious plants. You’ll even get native milkweed seeds and all the supplies you’ll need to grow them at home!

Class will be held rain or shine and will involve outdoor activity. Please dress for the weather.

Instructor bio: Caitlin Keating graduated from Texas A&M University in 2020 with a B.S. in Environmental Studies. She has worked in plant conservation and education and is now a Natural Resource Specialist at the Houston Arboretum.
