Intro to Native Plants

Native plants are the best – join us to find out why! In this hands-on class we’ll learn why native plants are important, some good species to start with, and how to begin the exciting journey of gardening with natives.
Class will be held rain or shine and will involve outdoor activity. Please dress for the weather and wear close-toed shoes.
Instructor bio: Nova Morales is a Natural Resource Specalist on the Arboretum’s conservation team. She is passionate about ecological landscaping, sustainability, conservation and teaching others about the importance of protecting our native ecosystems.
