Mindfulness in Nature

In this special series for seniors, each session will begin with guided meditation followed by a different nature-based activity such as gardening, mindful birding, or nature journaling. This series is designed to foster connection, health, and well-being in older adults through meaningful engagement with the natural world.
Please dress for the weather and wear walking shoes.

Instructor bio: Angela Kim is an occupational therapy doctoral student from Texas Woman’s University with a passion for health promotion and community wellness. Her capstone project is focused on using nature-based interventions to enhance physical, mental, and social well-being in older adults. In her free time, Angela enjoys exploring local trails, going on walks, and running with friends.
