for ages 12-17

This semester-long, project-based class welcomes teens who are passionate about nature, enthusiastic about the environment, and curious about storytelling. Exploring and working on technical skills will empower learners to make their voices heard on real-world topics that matter to them.

In class, students will use Chromebooks for editing and accessing media and learning how to conduct research. Learners will receive instruction on components of storytelling, filming and editing, and researching questions – all culminating in a presentation of their own short film project in a screening showcase at the Arboretum.
