Love is in the air – literally! Our resident pair Love is in the air – literally! Our resident pair of Red-shouldered Hawks is building a nest. This power couple defends a large territory that includes the Ravine and Buttonbush Trails. They scream to ward off trespassers, but also to court one another, calling as they fly together in coordinated displays of circling and diving. They may serenade you as you wander the trails with your loved one at Tapas on the Trails this Saturday! #BeakOfTheWeek #WildlifeWednesday
