The Wonders of Wetlands

Come explore the Houston Arboretum’s wetlands in honor of World Wetlands Day! Wetlands are one of the most biologically productive ecosystems in the world. They are also Mother Nature’s built-in filtration system and play an integral role in keeping our environment healthy. We will construct our own water filters and learn ways to help protect our local wetlands.  

Please come dressed for the outdoors, including closed-toe shoes.
